The expert work involved providing an expert report which examined the regulatory requirements regarding insurance advice and sales. The expert assessed the specific situation and client details, and provided an opinion on the actions of the insurance advisory firm. Of particular focus was the question of considering existing insurance policies, and whether the firm’s actions met the standard duty of care.
