Martello were instructed on behalf of a gas trading company to provide an expert witness report in a dispute relating to the breach of a gas supply contract in several European countries.

The expert work involved providing a background to the European natural gas market and infrastructure. This developed into assessing whether the Respondent was prevented from delivering gas under the agreement by external factors.

The Martello analysis involved constructing and proof-reading the expert report, creating detailed annotated showing gas supply routes into Europe, and collating documents which the expert relied upon and references for submission to the Court.
