Ashutosh Kumar is a Director at Martello, based in Dubai. He brings over 15 years of experience in construction planning and delay analysis in international arbitrations. A civil engineer and Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, he specialises in the forensic analysis of delay and disruption on complex construction and infrastructure projects. He has extensive experience in international arbitrations under ICC, LCIA, DIAC, and SCCA rules.
His career spans both hands-on construction delivery and expert witness roles. Prior to focusing on delay analysis, Ashutosh spent six years working on-site with contractors, followed by senior planning and consultancy roles. Over the course of his career, he has worked on major projects across multiple regions, covering sectors such as airports, rail, power, water, energy, data centres, hospitality, and large-scale residential and infrastructure developments.
He is particularly sought after for his delay expertise on major built-assets, including airports, hotels, malls, mixed-use developments, and high-rise.
