Juan has given evidence in high-profile international arbitrations before distinguished tribunals and construction arbitrators. He is recognised for his ability to distil complex technical and programming issues into clear, decision-ready analysis, supporting tribunals and parties in reaching well-reasoned conclusions. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, he regularly supports multilingual proceedings across jurisdictions.
Juan advises governments, developers, contractors and funders on complex, high-value disputes. Based in Dubai, he supports clients across Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
His project experience spans the energy sector (combined cycle, hydro, solar, wind, coal, and nuclear), oil and gas (onshore and offshore), real estate, manufacturing (including rolling stock and aviation), large-scale infrastructure (bridges, roads, rail, metro, airports, water, and waste), as well as social infrastructure and data centres.
Juan holds a double engineering degree from École Centrale Paris and Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, and an applied economics degree from Université Paris Dauphine.
