Margarita Papaioannou is a civil engineer and delay expert with 20 years of experience in the construction industry, specialising in forensic construction programming, project advisory services and dispute resolution. Margarita has been appointed as a delay expert and has worked extensively in international arbitrations or providing advice and consultation on entitlements to extensions of time and analysis of delay and disruption on construction and engineering projects globally. She has worked with owners, engineers, subcontractors and contractors from the UK and internationally to consult on matters related to construction programming, delay, project controls and project management.

Margarita has experience in a wide range of projects including power generation, oil and gas, commercial and residential buildings, skyscrapers and transportation. Early on in her career, Margarita has worked as a site engineer. Prior to joining Martello, Margarita was a director at Blackrock Expert Services, which was acquired by Kroll in 2020.
